When to call animal control

If you find an injured or stray animal that you cannot help, or if you see an animal being abused or neglected, contact your animal control department. Depending on where you live, animal control may be run by your county or by your city. If you have trouble finding the right number, your county animal shelter or your police department should be able to direct you to animal control.

Feral Cat Assistance Programs

Feral and Community Cat Programs

While we all wish every cat could live a safe and happy life indoors, sometimes this is not possible. With feral cats, utilizing a Trap-Neuter-Release program is often the most humane option. TNR programs have numerous benefits including preventing more being born into unsafe conditions. There are many resources in the area to aid and promote TNR programs. For more information on programs in your area, check out the resources below or contact your local shelter for options in your area.
